During the night of 6 to 7 May 2013, from the Kourou space center in French Guiana, the small PROBA-V satellite of the European Space Agency (ESA) has set sail aboard the Space European launcher Vega. A shot that the Belgian company SPACEBEL followed closely, having contributed significantly to the implementation of both the satellite and the flight program launcher.
PROBA-V is a Belgian satellite replacing the French SPOT-4 and SPOT-5 satellite, arriving at the end of life. The mini-observatory will deliver every 2 days a comprehensive view of the vegetation on Earth. The data collected will not only follow the agricultural and plant resources on the entire planet, they also contribute to the study of climate change.

The Maroons also called bushinenge (bush people) are descendants of those Africans that were deported by Dutch traders to work as slaves on their plantations in Suriname. After escaping slavery, some of them settled next in the Amazone forest close to the Maroni river. They lived in hell for a long time but today I assure you it is a piece of paradise !
My friend Seke came to pic me up in a small airport surounded by the amazone forest on the borders of Suriname. We then started a long trip by boat on the Maroni river heading to his village located somewhere between the trees.
After spending the night along the coast with green and leatherback sea turtles, it is time to get back to the office. We’ll now be able to watch the mouvement of the GPSes we attached in near real-time on a map.
Gluing a GPS on this green sea turtle so that these scientist can persue their study on the behaviour and migration of this specie.

Vandaag speelde ik het personage van een dokter in een nieuwe reclamespot dat uitgezonden zal worden in heel Europa.
Vanaf nu hoor ik bij « Read My Lips » naast andere namen zoals : Jan Verhuyen, Cath Luyten, Cathleen Cools, … Dit agentschap is de belgische referentie om de perfecte spreker te vinden die van uw evenement, een succes maakt !
Net terug van Frans Polynesie en ik vlieg er al weer in. Vandaag werkte ik als presentatrice voor een engels project.
Mijn tijd in droomland is voorbij. Vandaag ik vlieg naar Belgie om het jaar als een tijger van start te gaan. Gelukkig nieuwjaar !

Om mijn vaardigheden als presentatrice van reisprogramma’s te verbreden (Dive master, vaarbewijs, …) vertrek ik in November en December naar Tahiti.
Ik voel me zo gelukkig als ik de wereld kan rondreizen. Net een jaar geleden was ik India aan het verkennen. Hoe zou ik zo een ongelooflijke cultuur, tradities, landschappen kunnen vergeten.

Na ijsduiken en diepzeeduiken vervolg ik mijn duikopleiding @ Nemo 33, het diepste duikzwembad ter wereld in Brussel.
70% van de aarde bestaad uit water. Dankzij mijn “Padi” training kan ik vanaf nu de onderwaterwereld gaan verkennen.
